CREED

CREED
(without economy)

In a short space of time
After philosophers had invented
The destruction of God
And artists had believed
And abandoned their work
And their place was quickly taken by speedy architects and tailors
Who with their water for making soap bubbles
Seemingly innocuous
Corroded all God's beauty
And goodnes under heaven
And under the stars since time began.

Shortly afterwards began a new period
Of wayfarers and navigators with no destination
Camouflaged as tourists.
